Introduction

Most people arrive in China underprepared. Their bodies aren't conditioned for the intensity of real Shaolin training, and they feel it on day one. This 10-minute follow-along routine changes that.

Master Wei (Wei Fuqiang), Founder and Headmaster of the Shaolin Zhongwu Research and Learning Base in Dengfeng, China, leads you through the full body preparation routine used by students training on-site.

Master Wei is one of China's most decorated Shaolin martial arts coaches. A National First-Class Coach, National First-Class Wushu Referee, and holder of the Chinese Wushu 6th Duan and the Shaolin Duanpin 8th Duan, he has represented Shaolin culture across 32 countries and led the Shaolin Monk Performance Team at the 2018 China-Africa Cooperation Summit in the Great Hall of the People. He was named Outstanding Coach at the 12th International Shaolin Wushu Festival.
