Macao China Shaolin Cultural Center Visits Shaolin Zhongwu Base
In October 2026, a delegation from the Shaolin Cultural Center of China's Macao, led by Master Yanmeng (延盟), visited Shaolin Zhongwu Research and Learning Base for a martial arts cultural exchange. Master Yanxuan (延炫), head of Shaolin Zhongwu, held in-depth discussions with the guests on Shaolin Kung Fu teaching, the inheritance of Chan-wu (Zen and martial) culture, and youth martial arts training.
During the visit, Master Yanxuan guided the delegation around the base's training hall, practice grounds, activity rooms and living areas, introducing its daily teaching, curriculum design and management model in detail.
In the exchange session, students of both sides gave kung fu demonstrations. Shaolin Zhongwu students performed the Thirteen Fist form of Shaolin and weapons routines, while the Macao students presented their own kung fu skills. The masters watched alongside, exchanging views on movement standards and training methods in a lively on-site discussion.
At the end of the program, the two teams gathered for a group photo in front of the training hall. The visit not only deepened mutual understanding and friendship, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two Shaolin centers.
Chan and martial arts share one heart. Following a growing list of international exchanges, Shaolin Zhongwu will keep making friends through martial arts — and welcomes friends from around the world to visit and train at the base in China, where authentic Shaolin Kung Fu begins.
