In September 2026, a team of senior coaches from Shaolin Zhongwu Research and Learning Base traveled to Singapore to teach at the Shaolin Cultural Center, launching a weeks-long program of Shaolin Kung Fu instruction and cultural exchange — another major step in the base's mission of bringing Shaolin culture to the world.
The Shaolin Cultural Center in Singapore is a key local platform for Chan-wu (Zen and martial) culture, long dedicated to promoting authentic Shaolin Kung Fu among overseas Chinese communities and international friends. The invitation extended to Shaolin Zhongwu's coaching team is both a recognition of the base's teaching standards and a vivid practice of sharing Shaolin culture overseas.
On the training ground of the cultural center, the coaches started from fundamental skills, guiding local students of different ages and levels through Shaolin fist forms, kicking techniques and traditional conditioning methods. With patient demonstration and individual correction, the coaches passed on the essence of Shaolin Kung Fu move by move.
This Singapore mission is the latest chapter in the base's growing international outreach. The base has previously hosted study groups from Italy, Poland and many other countries, building rich experience in teaching students from around the world.
Looking ahead, Shaolin Zhongwu will continue to expand its overseas partnerships, helping Shaolin Kung Fu take root in more countries and regions — and inviting more international friends to come and train at the base in China, where authentic Shaolin Kung Fu begins. Shaolin Kung Fu connects the world.
